The origin of the White Party? Well, it's the original and largest circuit party put on by Jeffrey Sanker. White Party obviously refers to Easter. The most definitive thing I found through my extensive 2 minute googling was this quote from Jeffrey. Apparently the girls made a big impression on him and he stole the idea!

"Did you expect it to get as big as it is?"

"No. But I knew it was time to get out of the clubs. Nothing was happening that was a breakout thing. I went to the Dinah Shore Golf Tournament and saw 2,000 lesbians having the time of their lives at the hotels in Palm Springs and I thought, "My God, what if the boys could do this?"
