Moral dilemma

Is it wrong to use your neighbors wireless network if yours is down? I don't even think he's up yet...

Can your neighbor tell? If not, then of course it's okay! I did the same thing yesterday.

It depends...If you like him a lot, no.

If you barely like him, then just when he is sleeping or at work or away from the house.

If you hate him or he is an uber-jerk, then chalk the sidewalk and advertise to all the local pervs that there is free porn bandwidth available...

...you are simply doing the neighborly thing. Testing his wirless :-)

If his wireless is available (1) he is being generous; (2) he is being clueless by not securing it. Either way, go for it.

Nope... Long as you're not clogging it up to the point they can't use it... I leave my airport open for just that reason - kind of like communal living... If i find people clogging it up I might lock it down but hasn't been a problem so far...
