Here we go, look out below..
Aye Aye Captain! A fridge note you can't help but appreciate...
God help us if BumperNuts take off the same way the whole Calvin pissing on things phenom did.
HyperGlow Caffeinated Beer
The result is a stimulating depressant which looks like runoff from Three Mile Island
If you've been around here for a while, then you probably know that I love "Roadside" sites. Here's another good one Roadside Peek.
What no games?
Well, okay... here ya go. Sticky RPG. Don't blame me if 4:30 rolls around and you haven't done diddly all day. Consider yourself warned.
In other news: It appears that the Fishwrap Free for All ©2003 CDs have begun filtering in to those of you who signed up. The reviews are so far so good. Glad ya'll like it and now that you have my address (or is that my mechanics address? Hmm... you'll never know. ) feel free to send money or gifts or small shiny objects of affection. I'm kidding - enjoy and rock yer socks off kiddos.
Posted by MJ at July 2, 2003 09:34 AMGot the CD yesterday -- thanks!!!
Now if only I could figure out how to stuff this cat in an envelope ...
Posted by: LA at July 2, 2003 10:30 AMMake sure to incude plenty of food and water. I'm stamping that mother "Return to Sender"
Posted by: MJ at July 2, 2003 10:34 AMThe "Free for All" really hit the spot...I think you know which spot I mean.
When you've got a house full of windows that need cleaning, four solid rooms of wood floors that need wet mopping, a lawn that needs mowing, weeds that need pulling and a weeks worth of laundry moldering in your overly damp basement...Slip in this disc and hit repeat. You won't be sorry.
When the house and grounds are spic and span, leave the disc in and move on up to that Fresno California standard...a back yard kegger. Holler to yer friends "Hop in yer camaros an c'mon over. Hand over yer keys, 'cuz nobody leaves until the keg is empty!"
Ah, sweet life.
Thanks for the tunes and the memories MJ!
Posted by: Cyndi at July 2, 2003 11:45 AMNow I'm jealous and wished I'd asked for one. Anything that would motivate me to clean would be highly valued! Would you consider a trade for homemade strawberry jam?
BTW - very funny fridge note. Glad I wasn't the one that wrote it!
Posted by: greybird at July 2, 2003 12:29 PMI was just watching High Fidelity and it reminded me about the great thing he said about the makings of a great "mix tape" and how the first song must grab you, then you take it up a notch, but then you don't want to "blow your wad all at once" etcetc...if you've seen it, you know what I'm talking about. (although, he forgot to add the dramatic crescendo ending...that's my addendum)
rambling...was great! fabulous :)
