Diff'rent Strokes

I've considered Canada, what with the good health care and equal rights and all, but there has to be an alternative, somewhere warmer. Mexico is only an hour away... But then, it's Mexico. Nothing against Mexico except that well, it's Mexico.

I want to become an ex-pat. Specifically, an ex-Californian. What kind of fucking loony bin nut house certifiably INSANE state do I live in?!

First Arianna, then Arnold, the topless chick, now Gary fucking Coleman and that freak Gallagher?! Every time I read anything about this stupid stupid ass recall, I can't get this song out of my head. I've been humming it all day...

This is the saddest state of affairs my friends. It's a goddamn 3 ring circus disguised as a democracy. The rest of you must be laughing your ASSES off at us. But beware my friends. One word: Reagan.

Believe it or not we actually get summer here!! It's warm ALL THE TIME in British Columbia (where I am now). I think we had snow for all of 2 days this past winter, the rest of the time it's just rain.

And, if Arnawd is elected, at least he'll be able to blame his shitty grammer on the language barrier. We just had an idiot that had no command of his own friggin language. The whole country's a circus, my friend. You're just in the center ring at the moment.

If California and Minnesota are the future of the rest of the country, someday all governors will be required to have SAG cards. Freddie vs. Jason might be electoral politics instead of a slasher sequel...

Come to Quebec the most advance Province in Canada, nay, the planet! Gay-friendly legislation, can marry here and, the weather's okay if you can cope with 30+ during Summer and, -30+ during Winter. No, okay, so I'm joking about Winter... on average it's -10 to -15.

I think I even said last summer that because I bought a telescope we'd have continuous cloud cover... and I was right. If it hasn't been snowing it's been raining, or hazy, or hailing, or overcast. It's constantly damp.

Okay, first off - I am not moving to Canada because of the metric system. And don't give me that "rest of the world" bull. It's messed up.

As far as Connecticut is concerned - despite your repeated glowing recommendations Laura - your state is spelled funny. What's with the extra C?

Layne and Mopsa - You give me hope. Minnesota survived Jesse Ventura (barely) and thus, if Arnold is elected Govenator, I will turn to you for guidance.

No, not 363 of rain, are you kidding me? It rains instead of snows during the winter and during the summer it's extremely hot and almost never rains. And no, it's not a "dry rain" as you put it. It's quite humid here some days.

Arnold gets my vote because he's pissing off Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell. At this point, aggravation potential is a great recommendation. I suppose it's fortunate that I can't vote in California, huh? LOL Are there any serious candidates who aren't in show business?

At least there my vote wont count right away - rather than three years later. The electoral mess - is just a near even trade for Florida's elections.

Ohhh hold it a Bush as gov - has got to be worse the Jesse or Arnold?

No one in FL should be pointing at CA and laughing.
