Butch Pin Ups

There aren't many out there that I know of, except one: Norman Rockwell's Rosie. No, not the "We Can Do It" Rosie, this one graced the cover of the Saturday Evening Post in 1943.

Because Mopsie asked in comments, I went ahead and put her in the rotation. If you're lucky she might pop up. In the meantime, you can visit her here. She's a girl after my own heart with that ham sandwich.

If anyone out there knows of any other butch pin ups (hothead doesn't count), let me know! I'd love to add them to my collection.

Thank you MJ for finding the pin-up, and thank you Mopsie, for suggesting it.

Now I know for sure which one is my favorite!

Butch pin ups. Hmmm. Well, there's you.

;-)

MJ -- many smooches to you! Hurray for a butch pin up! You know, Mopsa right -- you count as one too! (So technically since your photo is up on the site you have a butch pin up every day!)

Gee... look at all those ! -- can you tell I'm IV-ing the coffee this morning?

How "refreshing" it is to get new images every time I visit!

Mospa - You promised me that you had destroyed those photos! I was young, it was college, I was hungry, you offered me money... What was a young buck to do? And now here you are, ruining my shot at the California Governors Office (and possibly the Presidency) by exposing my sordid past...

Hey--it wasn't THAT much money. And you weren't THAT hungry.

Plus they made a nice collage.

well, well, well. and a happy birthday to you. since i wasn't invited to the party, i assume that i am not included in that group of really cool friends. that's o.k. at least i didn't have to contribute to the coffee maker. but no cake, bummer. love cake. anyhow, don't stop celebrating, and have a great time

Careful love - You'll give drama queens a bad name... There was no party (yet) and no cake either (yet - hint hint).

You guys skipped out at The Falls. Had you stayed, you could have gotten off easy and bought me a birthday martini. But now, alas... See you this weekend! ::smooch::
