Go Green! Go White!

Showdown in Michigan!
Tomorrow's Michigan vs. Michigan State game is HUGE!
You're in our house this year. It's payback time.
On the banks of the Red Cedar
Is a school that's known to all;
Its specialty is winning,
And those Spartans play good ball;
Spartan teams are never beaten,
All through the games they fight;
Fight for the only colors,
Green and White.
Go right thru' for MSU,
Watch the points keep growing.
Spartan teams are bound to win,
They're fighting with a vim.
RAH! RAH! RAH!
See their team is weakening,
We're going to win this game.
Fight! Fight! Rah! Team, Fight!
Victory for MSU.
What's the deal with you and MSU? Having lived in Lansing, I understand the fixation, but I haven't heard your story. Hm... maybe if someone would post her bio. ;)
The Deal-io?
Well I grew up there and my parents are both (retired) MSU faculty AND I am a big BIG sports fan. I've been going to Spartan football, basketball and hockey games since I was a wee one. In fact I wanted to go back for tomorrows game but couldn't swing it.
I'm fairly certain that I am the only person in Palm Springs with a 4x6 Spartan flag on their 20' flag pole. Well no, there's my cousin (MSU Alum) who lives down the street. And there's MJS - another alum, but he doesn't have a flag. At least we aren't face painters... yet.
And you're right - I should start working on an "all about ME!" page... right after the game ;)
