Big Weekend

Even though I still feel like crap, nothin's gonna keep me from enjoying this weekend. Tomorrow night is the fantastic Festival of Lights parade. I love this town! It'll be 55 degrees and eveyone will be wearing parkas and mittens.

And Sunday will be spent out in Indio at the Tamale Festival sampling some of the worlds best tamales. But you can bet we won't be trying the Strawberry Tamales again. Fruit and Masa were never meant for eachother.

Enjoy the tamales... I'll have to miss it this year, unfortunately. Quite agree about the strawbery ones. They're not right, for so many reasons.
