The U.S. Constitution

An open letter to anyone supporting a 28th amendment the Constitution of the United States of America to BAN same-sex marriages:

I respectfully request that you read this document and explain to me in clear terms - without using references to God, the bible, or any other Christian reference (see 1st Amendment) - why you support this effort.

I wait for your reply.

As I keep saying to myself, the only reason that I consider this an issue is because it shouldn't be one.

Heh. I suspect you won't get many takers, MJ. The folks supporting the amendment do not have the ability to separate church from state. Just stating the obvious.

I've got some "clicks needed" links up, come on by.

And I, for one, will never watch another Arnold movie again...I was really surprised he would support this.

We have an interesting debate going on about this over at Lunabean. Most of us are liberals, but there are a few conservatives fighting their fight. Granted, they can't seem to do it without the use of "God" nor "sin", but they're trying.

I wonder if they could even write a letter that would be coherent to anyone else?

Here's a discussion with a very confused man who referenced "Social Science" in lieu of referencing God. It still makes no sense.
