Wheel in the sky keeps on turnin'

The Missus is off playing in the woods of Wisconsin so I'm left here to my own devices. One of the many joys of having the house to myself is that I get to play my "guilty pleasure" music REALLY LOUD.

What kind of guilty pleasure music MJ? Well, I'm not ashamed to admit it, I'm in the throws of a circa 1976 flashback and I'm LOVING IT!

Oh yes - requests.. anything ELO! Turn to Stone was a favorite of mine. A new radio station that plays "what they want, when they want" does a lot of ELO and I just crank it up. Drives the kids batty. :)

Hmm. Looks like tomorrow might be a multi-song request and long distance dedication. Anyone else have a tune in this genre they'd like to hear?

I tell ya - these guys perfected the male falsetto. That Timberlake twit couldn't hit, much lesst HOLD, a note like these long haired, chicken legged, hit with the ugly stick dudes. That's pure 70's baby.

Y'know, MJ...I think that weekly, you should suggest an era, or a theme, and have people make requests. It'd promote group interaction, and the like. And, if you don't like any of the suggestions, you can still play what you want! ;)

oh mah gawd. I love all those guys! And I don't care who knows. I think I actually have at least one vinyl album from each of those people...

I vote for Supertramp! or ELO....oh shit, I dunno. Post them all!

I find it funny that you posted about this, I was just relaying to my girlfriend on Wednesday how I was on the way to the post office singing "Oh, Sherry" at the top of my lungs in the car before I could help myself. I'm just happy to know I'm not alone. lol.
