The Envelope Please...

And the winner of the first ever Name My Beer Contest is...

Coachella Valley Swamp Cooler EPA

WooHoo - Congratulations Betsy! Even though our winner does not have a blog (that we know of!) I fully expect her to report back here and give an honest review of her prize, 2 precious 22 oz. bottles of fine handcrafted homebrew.

Be sure to send me your information so that you can collect your winnings, they should be ready mid-late March!

Thanks to everyone who submitted names. In no particular order...

Betsy
Hanan (with graphic even!)
MJ (The Other One)
Andy
Mister Anchovy
Tracy
Chele
CJ
Staz

They were all hilarious and great! Thanks for playing. I'm sure we'll do this again. You guys ROCK!

Did you make the graphic, or did your winner? Looks way cool. How does one go about procuring a bottle of this fine pale ale? :)

That label would be my handywork (it's a living...)

As for procuring a bottle, a 5 gallon batch only produces 24 bottles so... what are you offering? Heheh...

Let me know how it is! I miss the bottling parties getting the beer w/the alcohol content of 13% - or whatever the hell it turned out to be - into orange crush bottles!

Fear not my friend.

I think you were in the frickin Alps or something when I mentioned here that you and the engineer were getting two bottles.

And ya know.. I'm not doing the actual bottling until the weekend of the 25th... You guys could always drive down!

Orange Crush and Big Red!

that's the GREATEST! now, start mass-production and get it on the shelves throughout California.. i'm going to be in Santa Barbara next week and i wanna take a case home with me! :-)

please tell me it'll stop raining out there by Wednesday. i keep looking at the weather pages and it's just rain rain everywhere. yes, it's warmer than it is here in the tundra so i shouldn't complain. but still..!
